What are the best types of blueberries to grow in Florida?
|
Answer:
Because Florida has a short and mild winter, many types of blueberries don’t grow well here. They require exposure to cooler temperatures. The two types that do produce well here are rabbiteye (Vaccinium ashei) and southern highbush (interspecific hybrids of V. darrowi, V. ashei and V. corymbosum). |
