What is a public access AED/defibrillation?
|
Answer:
Public access to defibrillation or PAD allows for the placement of AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) in public and private locations. They are becoming increasingly available in parks, airports, restaurants, and other high traffic areas. If a cardiac arrest does occur, anyone can use these defibrillators to help administer a shock if necessary. |
