What are remanufactured ink cartridges?

Category: Office Supplies

Answer:

A remanufactured ink cartridge is an affordable ink solution that involves recycling the cartridge housing and remanufacturing it with new ink and printer heads. These remanufactured cartridges will meet and/or exceed the (OEM) original equipment manufacturers specifications. After they have been recycled they are checked for quality, refilled, and then sealed and sold to the public. They are usually sold at discounts of 60%-75% less than a new OEM cartridge. Compatible ink cartridges are also sold at discounts but they are a bit different.
