What is a trade paperback in the comic book industry?

Category: Entertainment

Answer:

A trade paperback collects a specific comic book story arc within an on-going series or a collected mini series. A typical trade paperback can collect anywhere from four to six comic books. In this collected form, the purchase price will be less than if buying each individual issue. Trade paperbacks are also usually published with additional material such as writer, artist, and publisher comments like that of a DVD commentary, sketch designs, alternate covers, pin-ups, celebrity forwards, previews of what’s next and more.
