What is a zero deductible state? Can I get my windshield repaired for free?
|
Answer:
If you have comprehensive auto insurance and live in FL, MA, KY, or SC, then you are eligible to have your windshield or any glass (in KY & SC only) replaced without a deductible. These states are called zero deductible states. In most cases all you have to do is contact the windshield repair service and they will contact your insurance company to setup the payment and replacement. The car insurance companies in these states are required by law to allow for a free windshield replacement. |
